Jane W. Davidson, Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, is distinguished for research on social psychological approaches to music and the arts, alongside practice-based work in singing. She is recognised for her collaborations with emerging and eminent scholars and practitioners from a range of disciplines. She is currently Director of the Victorian College of the Arts and Chair of the Creativity and Wellbeing Research Initiative at The University of Melbourne. She is also President of the Australian Association of Deans and Directors of Creative Arts, a peak body in the higher education sector in Australia.
