Sumana is the Allied Health Lead at UnitingSA (Community Aged Care) and a PhD Candidate at Flinders University.

In her role at UnitingSA, she manages multidisciplinary teams to deliver allied health services for older adults living in the community. Her doctoral research at Flinders University focuses on reablement for community-dwelling older adults, with a specific interest in interventions that improve functional independence.

As a practitioner-researcher, Sumana is committed to evidence-based practice and utilizes peer-reviewed research to bridge the gap between clinical leadership and academic study. Her work aims to improve service delivery models that support autonomy for older populations.
