Professor Jennene Greenhill is Chair of the Discipline of Nursing at Southern Cross University, where she leads a young and dynamic School of Nursing spanning regional, rural and remote communities across southwest Queensland, northern New South Wales and the Mid North Coast of NSW. She has a strong national and international profile in rural health and is deeply committed to social accountability in health professional education and research.
Professor Greenhill’s research focuses on changing culture and clinical practice in residential aged care and strengthening the health workforce to meet the needs of diverse and ageing populations. She has been a Chief Investigator on several large, competitive research projects, including a current NHMRC funded study on the early identification of delirium, and two previous Department of Aged Care Services (DACS) National Aged Care grants that developed and evaluated innovative models of care in residential aged care.
