Drew Meehan is a Lecturer in Public Health at La Trobe University. Her research focuses on the social and environmental determinants of loneliness, social isolation and social connection across the life course, with a particular interest in ageing, place-based health promotion, and prevention. Drew has published research using both quantitative and qualitative methods, including recent work examining how neighbourhoods and communities shape social connection among older Australians. She previously worked in health policy within the not-for-profit sector.
