Lisa is employed as an expert with intellectual disability within the Healthy Ageing with Intellectual Disability research project at Flinders University. Lisa also works in open employment as a support worker supporting older people with intellectual disability in Adelaide, South Australia. Lisa previously worked at Bedford Industries for 19 years, a supported employment organisation. Lisa brings strong lived experience, practical skills, and a team focused approach to her role.
Lisa is committed to broadening her skill set and background knowledge to better support older people with intellectual disability, particularly in ageing related changes such as falls prevention and hearing loss.
