Mina Aghaei is a dual-award PhD candidate at Western Sydney University (Australia) and the University of Hertfordshire (UK). Her research focuses on person-centred assistive technologies for people living with dementia, with a particular interest in the role of artificial intelligence in supporting independence, daily activities, and quality of life. She works closely with people living with dementia, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure that emerging technologies reflect real-world needs and preferences.
