I’m a nursing professional with over ten years of experience across aged care and hospital settings. I started my career in aged care, which gave me a strong foundation in person-centred practice, before moving into the hospital system to broaden my clinical experience.
Over time, I found my way back to aged care, where my passion has always been, and took on a leadership role in remote East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. One of the most meaningful parts of my career has been helping to open and commission a new aged care facility in Nhulunbuy – Yutjuwala Djiwarr (Little Heaven), working in close consultation with the local community. This was the first service of its kind developed in partnership with the community, with a strong focus on creating a culturally safe environment for residents.
I’m passionate about delivering high-quality care in complex settings, and I take pride in combining clinical standards with cultural respect, strong leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
