Nicholas is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and PhD Candidate at the University of Canberra. His thesis, which will be completed mid-2026 is entitled: The role of physical activity for preserving physical and cognitive health for people with young onset dementia. In 2025 he was awarded the Dr Marree Farrow Memorial Clinical Practice Postgraduate Stipend by the Dementia Australia Research Foundation to complete his thesis. Nicholas aims to continue his work post-PhD to continue exploring how physical activity can benefit people with living experience of young onset dementia.
