Dr. Emily Moir is a criminologist and senior lecturer within the School of Law and Society at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Her research focuses on how opportunities for crime arise and how they can be prevented through supervision and situational crime prevention. Her recent work on focuses on the abuse of older adults who live with cognitive impairments, rural and remote areas, and perpetrator interventions.
