Dr Amy Montgomery is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and an Aged Care Nurse Practitioner, being 18 years of clinical experience across residential, community and acute aged care. Amy's research focuses on translating evidence into scalable interventions that strengthen workforce capability, interprofessional practice and technology-enabled care for older people. A career highlight is that she successfully established and led a post-diagnostic memory clinic at University of Wollongong, Enhance, which delivers rehabilitation and reablement interventions for people living with dementia and their carers. She continues to develop innovative dementia and delirium care models, including a pilot RCT of virtual reality therapy and delirium recovery clinic.
