Ann Hetherington has been a dedicated member of Dementia Australia since 2015, contributing across a range of roles within the Commonwealth Home Support Programs. Throughout her career, Ann has consistently championed person-centred care, with a strong focus on delivering services that foster purpose, meaning, and dignity for clients living with dementia.

In her current role as Team Leader at Cedar House Day Respite Centre, Ann leads with compassion and innovation. She has developed and implemented programs that empower clients to live well with dementia, engage meaningfully with their communities, and actively challenge stigma. Her work reflects a deep commitment to creating inclusive environments where individuals feel valued, connected, and supported.
