The presenter is currently pursuing a PhD at a university in Brisbane, Australia, while working as a research assistant. Beginning the academic journey in 2011 at a medical college in India, the presenter demonstrated leadership in optometry curriculum development, coursework planning, research supervision, and educational delivery.

With a strong commitment to enhancing elderly wellbeing, the doctoral research focuses on using implementation science and systems mapping to transform hearing and eye care services in aged care communities. This work aims to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical, impactful solutions for older adults. Additionally, the presenter is involved in an innovative project that explores the design of therapeutic pet robots to support the needs of people living with dementia.

Combining healthcare expertise with implementation methodology, the presenter is well-positioned to make significant contributions to both academic knowledge and real-world aged care practices, directly improving the quality of life for the aging population.
