Professor Claire Johnson is the director of the Palliative Aged Care Outcomes Program (PACOP)- a national framework supporting more than 500 aged care services provide optimal palliative and end-of-life care for the 46,000 Australians in their care. In PACOP, Claire’s implementation science and quality in clinical care expertise intersect with her research interests and experience in palliative care in aged care and general practice/primary care. Prior to her current appointment at the University of Wollongong, Claire was the Vivian Bullwinkel Chair of Palliative Care Nursing and a chief investigator for the Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC).
