Dr Som Sengmany is a researcher, communication practitioner and consultant who has worked for over 20 years in the government, not for profit and commercial sectors. As the Research and Innovation Lead at iLA, his work explores how healthy ageing can be better understood and supported across Australia’s multicultural communities. In 2018, he was awarded Donald Dyer Scholarship and went on to complete a PhD on multicultural communication practices in the Victorian government and multicultural sectors. His work, rooted in themes of social justice, inclusion, and representation, has been published in academic journals and industry publications.
