Aunty Di served as CEO of the Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation, an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Organisation. She is a respected and influential advocate for Aboriginal health issues at state and federal levels, representing Tasmania on several Australian governmental committees and roundtables addressing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues. Aunty Di is instrumental in connecting Aboriginal communities in Tasmania through the Tasmanian Regional Aboriginal Communities Alliance. She led a state-wide initiative to establish the Tasmanian Aboriginal Health Reference Group to advocate for changes in policy to support the provision of culturally safe care and Aboriginal community-controlled health services across the state.
