Shay Farbotko is a Research Fellow and PhD Candidate in the Health Economics Group within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University. Research interests include dementia, healthy ageing, and mental health, with a focus on preference elicitation, value frameworks, and the evaluation of interventions beyond traditional health outcomes. They have interdisciplinary training in psychology, epidemiology, and commerce.
