Nicki Parker is the Mentor Coordinator for the national GNC Program and a member of the GNC Research and Development Team, based at the university of the sunshine coast, where she leads work on mentoring frameworks, capability‑building, and sustainable workforce development in aged care. She holds academic appointments with the University of the Sunshine Coast and the University of Tasmania, teaching across gerontological nursing, postgraduate renal nursing, and undergraduate nursing science. Nicki also works as a Clinical Nurse and Clinical Facilitator within Metro North Kidney Health Services at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Qld Health. She holds professional memberships with the Renal Society of Australasia, the Gerontological Alliance of Nurses Australia (GANA), and the Healthy Aging Research Cluster (HARC).
