Yuan Gao is a PhD candidate in Health Psychology at the University of Auckland, supervised by Professor Elizabeth Broadbent and Professor Ngaire Kerse. Her interests lie in the areas of assistive technology, gerontology, and human-robot interaction. Her research explores how socially assistive robots and virtual humans can support lifestyle changes and cognitive health in older adults, particularly those with mild cognitive impairment.
