My PhD research project has developed after my relocation to Australia. As a Chinese migrant, I have integrated my own migration experience with ongoing observations within CALD communities. My previous education and professional experience of social work in mainland China and Taiwan have further enabled me to engage in research at the intersection of ageing and migration, gradually deepening my interest in the wellbeing of older Chinese migrants.
