Dr Carolyn Murray is teaching and research senior lecturer with strong interests in qualitative research in the areas of health workforce development and support, evaluation of aged care services and consumer experience for people living with health issues such as dementia, stroke and brain injury. Dr Murray has clinical expertise in aged care and has developed and evaluated group programs that promote social connectedness, self-worth and engagement. Dr Murray completes research about consumer perspectives of recovery following trauma and quality of health and social care services. Dr Murray is interested in sustainability and efficiency of health and aged care systems and services across disciplines. Dr Murray is a keen educator of future occupational therapists and integrates her research into her teaching, supervision of research students and preparation of students for being practitioners.
