Dr. Kerry Hwang is a Research Fellow in the Monash School of Nursing and Midwifery. He is working on the ENGAGE project, a NHMRC funded co-designed project to develop and implement strategies for improving engagement in medication management during transitions of care in hospital with and for older patients and their families.
Kerry has a key passion for improving the lives of older people, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. He has over eight years of research experience in the field of ageing and gerontology, using both quantitative and qualitative approaches to address key ageing research agendas.
Kerry was recently awarded his PhD, titled: "Measuring healthcare access and utilisation amongst older migrant Australians: an analysis harnessing nationally representative datasets".
