Linda is Emeritus Professor at the University of Queensland and Prior academic and leadership appointments include Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) and Provost Victoria University Melbourne, and Executive Dean and Head of School University of Queensland, Linda has served AAG as a Board member, Chair of AAG Research Trust, member of the Management committee of the Australasian Journal of Ageing and member/office bearer of AAG state Committees.
Her research has focused on the social and economic aspects of aging and care. Linda has researched, published and presented widely on economic security, superannuation and ageing, financial abuse and aged care and on intergenerational commitments with a particular focus upon older women-she is now living her research and discovering the reality!
