Cassandra has over 20 years' experience in national statistical reporting across health, education, mental health, disability and social statistics fields working at the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. Cassandra contributed to the development of the Person Linked Integrated Data Asset (formerly known as MADIP) in it's inception, supported the implementation of the Intergenerational Health and Mental Health Study and led numerous national survey reports such as the National Health Survey. More recently Cassandra has led the Palliative Care team at the AIHW to produce reports on Palliative care services in Australia informing the objectives of the National Palliative Care Strategy 2018. Cassandra is passionate about data governance and maximising the use of existing data for policy and research outcomes that benefit Australians.
