Dr Mikaela Jorgensen is Team Leader for the National Aged Care Data Asset within the GEN and Aged Care Data unit at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. She is also an adjunct fellow at Macquarie University. Mikaela has the unique combination of a background as an allied health clinician, experience as an aged care worker, and expertise in the management and analysis of large and linked routinely-collected datasets. Mikaela is passionate about ensuring all Australians receive high quality support across the health, aged care and disability support systems. Her work aims to bridge the gap between research and policy and practice using data.
