Professor Hodgkin’s ’principal research interests examine the precarity and capacity of Australian’s aged care workforce in rural areas.. Her other research areas include the provision of services and supports to older people living in rural communities, and how formal care combines with informal care. She has published her work in several international and national journals. She has also disseminated findings from her research to international and national conferences
