Are you a leader or an inspiring leader in gerontological nursing?  Ever left a meeting thinking, “I missed a cue!” or “I wish I had been quicker with my response.” Or “Why did my point get passed over?”  The aim of this workshop is to provide guidance for developing more effective skills to undertake committee or advisory group work as well as develop more confidence to volunteer for committees or advisory groups.  Ms Reeves will share lessons from her extensive experience as a nurse leader who has developed high level organisational advocacy skills that support change for enhancing the capacity of gerontological nursing to promote the health and well-being of older people.
