Biography
Siri is a chartered professional civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in planning, design, construction and
maintenance of infrastructure projects and networks.
As the Strategy and Assurance Manager with KiwiRail he is responsible for enterprise asset management functions focusing on Asset strategies and assurance services to ensure organisation's risk exposure is managed appropriately.
In this capacity he oversees the development of life cycle plans, levels of service and
performance measures, asset risk management tactics, infrastructure policies, optimisation tools
and processes and asset management improvement programmes.
Prior to his current role he has worked with Auckland Transport as their asset planning manager.
He is a member of the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand and the Institution of
Civil Engineers UK and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering and management.
