Nkechi is a civil engineer with over 20 years of experience delivering complex road and rail infrastructure projects across state, local, and private sectors. She has held senior roles including Manager of Developer Interface Projects at the Department of Transport and Planning, and Senior Projects Officer at Victoria Police, with a focus on strategy, stakeholder engagement, and organisational improvement.
A passionate community advocate, Nkechi combines her engineering expertise with a commitment to safety, women’s empowerment, and mentoring, having lectured in civil engineering at RMIT University and contributed to initiatives encouraging women in engineering. She is also a qualified counsellor (Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling), bringing a people-focused perspective to her work and community engagement.
