Catherine Caruana-McManus is the Co-Founder and Director of Meshed, an Australian IoT solutions company powering large-scale smart city and industrial digital transformation projects. She is also the Founder of Giant Ideas for Smart Cities and a Founding Director of the IoT Alliance Australia.
A recognised leader in smart cities and digital infrastructure, Catherine is a sought-after keynote speaker at global technology and urban innovation conferences. She has received multiple awards for industry leadership, including the IoT Ambassador Award and Smart Cities Industry Leader recognition by the Smart Cities Council.
Under her leadership, Meshed has received international acclaim, including the IoT World Excellence Award for its nCounter People Counting Solution and Smart Cities Starter Kit.
Prior to founding Meshed, Catherine was Director of Smarter Cities at IBM and has held senior executive roles with KPMG, MC2 Consulting, Telstra, and PMP Communications. She currently serves as an Advisory Council Member of the Asian Development Bank’s Sustainable Cities Committee.
Catherine holds qualifications in urban planning, economics, telecommunications, management, and applied finance.
