Tairan Kevin Huang holds a PhD in Accounting from University of Wollongong and currently serves as Associate Head (Discipline Leader) of Accounting, and Deputy Head (Growth and Global), and PhD supervisor within the School of Business. He is also an executive committee member of the Accounting Education Special Interest Group of the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand and Deputy Chair of the Global Chinese Accounting Association.
Dr Huang is a recipient of the Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT Citation) and the Australian Postgraduate Scholarship. His research interests include accounting education, ESG and sustainability, auditing, and digital transformation. He has published in international journals, including Kybernetes, Business Strategy and the Environment, Pacific Accounting Review, and Accounting & Finance. He has also participated in and completed three National Social Science Fund projects in China.
