Biography
Dr Lan Nguyen is now a Lecturer in Accounting at Monash University. She obtained her PhD in Accounting from University of Bristol in 2025. Her research examines how time and emotions shape the way people engage with and respond to Management Control Systems within organisations.
She uses a qualitative approach based on two field studies. The first was conducted in a UK charity that supports people with disabilities in finding employment. The second takes place in Vietnamese hospitals, focusing on junior doctors.
