Zhenyuan Qian is a PhD student in Accounting at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Her research interests focus on audit quality, financial reporting, and corporate governance. Her research has been accepted for presentation at several leading international accounting conferences, including the European Accounting Association (EAA) Annual Congress, and the Accounting & Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) Conference. She presented her work at the 2025 AFAANZ Annual Conference in Brisbane. Her current work specifically examines the interplay between the external environment, managerial traits, and audit outcomes.
