Biography
Zongxi is an Early Career Academic Fellow (Associate Lecturer) in the School of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation at UNSW Business School. His doctoral research investigates the implications of firm diversification for financial statement analysis, providing insights into how firm operational structures influence fundamental analysis, with a particular focus on the time-series properties of earnings and various aspects of earnings forecasts. His first paper from his thesis has been published in The British Accounting Review in 2026.
Alongside his research, Zongxi has extensive teaching experience across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering courses in financial management, financial accounting, business analysis, firm valuation, and accounting analytics. In recognition of his contributions to teaching, he was awarded the Staff Excellence Award on Learning, Teaching and Support by UNSW Business School in 2025.
Outside of academia, Zongxi enjoys travelling and photography.
