Biography
Ed Harbor F.H.E.A, A.C.M.A, C.G.M.A, B.Acc (Hons) – Accounting

Ed Harbor has been a Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) for over 20 years. He is responsible for the design, development and delivery of programmes on the Undergraduate and Masters programmes at the UNSW School of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation and the MBA Executive Programme at Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM). He has received the Vice Chancellors Award for Contribution to Student Learning and the Marcus Cohen Award for Teaching Excellence at the UNSW Business School. In both 2025 and 2024 he was also the recipient of consecutive AGSM Faculty Awards for Teaching.
He has created an impressive reputation as one of the most passionate, engaging and knowledgeable teachers in his areas of expertise. He is a firm believer in the principle that you must engage with an audience through enthusiasm and inspiration in order for them to really appreciate individual topic areas. For example, one of his main joys in life is demonstrating that accounting can indeed be interesting, enjoyable and give you the ability to understand and run a successful business!
