Takaya Kubota is a researcher in the Faculty of Business Administration at Tohoku Gakuin University, Japan. My research focuses on accounting, particularly management accounting, digitalization, and the changing roles of accounting professionals. My current work examines how emerging technologies such as AI and RPA influence accounting practices and professional services. I also study accounting education, with a particular interest in how the use of board games affects students’ interest in accounting and their learning behavior.
