Syaiful Ali holds the position of Professor at the Universitas Gadjah Mada. He is an active member of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants – Professional Accountant Certification Board (IAI-DSAP), he has played a significant role in advancing professional accounting standards and certifications in Indonesia. He earned his PhD (Major in Accounting Information Systems) from UQ Business School, Australia, and his Master of Information Systems from UQ Business School, Australia. His research interest include IT governance, corporate governance, and IT investment governance. His work has been featured in numerous prestigious international journals, including the Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Australian Journal of Management, and others.
