Qida (Hugh) Hu is a fourth-year PhD student in Accountancy at the School of Accountancy, Economics and Finance, Massey University, New Zealand. He holds a Master of Business Studies in Accounting and is the recipient of the Massey Business School Doctoral Scholarship. He has completed his doctoral dissertation defense and will graduate this year with a doctoral degree.

Qida's PhD research explores the role of CEO-Chairman age diversity and its implications for various firm outcomes, annual reports tone, investment efficiency, and firm value. Qida’s new research on greenwashing and the disclosure tone.
