Dr. Mei Qiu is a Senior Lecturer (Finance) at Massey University. Her teaching spans corporate finance, international finance, financial planning, financial modelling, and financial asset management courses, at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Her research examines how information, regulation uncertainty, and sustainability factors shape corporate and household financial decisions across global markets. She has published in high ranked international journals including Journal of International Money and Finance, International Review of Economics and Finance, China Economic Review, Energy Economics, Economics Letters, Applied Economics, International Journal of the Economics of Business, and International Journal of Managerial Finance.
Before joining Massey University, Mei worked in the financial industry in China taking various roles including financial analyst, investment advisor, fund manager and manager of the trading department.
