Fareedah Alsulmi is a PhD candidate at La Trobe Business School. She holds a Bachelor of Science. (Hons) in Accounting from Saudi Arabia, a Master of Art in Accounting from the United States, and a VAT Specialist Certificate from the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA). Fareedah is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society recognizing business excellence. Before beginning her Ph.D. study, Fareedah served as a lecturer in the Accounting Department at Taibah Business School, where she taught courses in accounting, business ethics, and financial transactions in Islam. Her research interests include corporate governance, sustainability, and taxation. In addition to her academic role, she gained significant administrative experience at Taibah Business School, serving as the chairman of the Central Control Committee for Distance Education.
