Biography
Luiz Fernando Distadio is an early-career academic in Accounting at Griffith University's Business School. His research interests are:
1. Sustainability accounting and sustainable finance
2. Energy finance
Distadio’s research has been accepted in leading, peer-reviewed academic publications, including the A ranked journals (ABDC list) and ABS ranking: The International Journal of Accounting (ABS 3), The Energy Journal (US IAEE, ABS 3), Journal of Commodity Markets (ABS 3), and Finance Research Letters (ABS 2). He completed his PhD at UTS University of Technology Sydney. Prior to his PhD, Fernando worked in the industry for 10 years spanning different roles in Investor Relations and Financial Reporting. His Master's studies in International Accounting&Finance were completed at Birmingham University's Business School (UK). Fernando's bilingual undergraduate in Accounting&Finance was completed at FEA-USP (Brazil) and HEC Montreal (Canada).
