Biography
Dr. Abu Chowdhury is an Associate Professor of Finance at BRAC University in Bangladesh. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Turku in Finland. He earned his PhD from Stockholm University in Sweden. Dr. Chowdhuryâs research interest is in corporate finance. He has published articles in reputable journals such as the European Journal of Finance, the British Accounting Review, and Global Finance Journal. Currently, he is working on equity issuance, corporate failure, and ESG.
