Biography
I am currently a PhD candidate in Accounting at the University of Canterbury. My research focuses on sustainability accounting, climate-related disclosure, carbon markets, and corporate carbon management. I hold a Master of Accounting from Macau University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Jiaxing University. Before beginning my doctoral studies, I gained professional experience in accounting and auditing roles, including an internship with BDO.
My current doctoral research examines how mandatory climate-related disclosure frameworks, including TCFD-aligned standards, influence corporate environmental reporting, carbon market participation, and sustainability performance. I have presented my research at several academic conferences and doctoral colloquia. My broader academic interests include ESG reporting, corporate governance, and the role of accounting in supporting the global low-carbon transition.
