Biography
Ayesha Ashraf is a PhD candidate at Flinders University, Australia, supported by the Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) scholarship. Her research interests lie at the intersection of corporate finance, behavioural finance, political connections, group affiliations, and sustainability control systems. Her research has been published in reputable ABDC-ranked journals, including Journal of Financial Crime and Discover Sustainability. She is currently on study leave from her position as Lecturer in Business Administration at the University of Sahiwal, Pakistan.
In addition to her teaching experience, she has held key administrative roles, including Deputy Registrar (Implementation), Deputy Director (ORIC), Quality Enhancement Cell PT Member, and Focal Person for the Pink Ribbon initiative.
She holds a Graduate Business Certificate from Monash University and a Master of Management Sciences (Accounting and Finance) from COMSATS University Islamabad, where she secured first position, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration (second position).
